Gajalakshmi is a form of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, who symbolizes wealth, prosperity, and power. She is depicted seated on a lotus flower, flanked by two elephants who shower her with water, a scene that represents the "abhisheka" (ritual consecration) performed when she emerged from the ocean during the Samudra Manthan. This form is one of the Ashta-Lakshmi (eight forms of Lakshmi) and signifies abundance, fertility, and royal authority. CLARITY : Tanjore painting is taken with glass so its glaring, if you see directly it looks very beautiful than model picture!
